I'VE BEEN BUILDING SYSTEMS SINCE I WAS 16
By 19, I was managing eight departments. By 20, I was Director of Admissions—before I'd graduated. I went on to build mortgage companies, serve on state and national finance boards, and create financial education programs for entire communities.
But I also lived in over 300 homes across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico—sleeping in strangers' guest rooms, eating at their tables, watching what stays the same and what shifts across cultures. That taught me something most system-builders miss:
When the 2008 mortgage meltdown hit, I watched systems collapse from extraction design, not individual failures. I asked a different question:
What if we could design systems that regenerate—that create more life than they consume?
That question led me to an MBA in global strategy, then Harvard for anthropology. I founded White Lotus Global Initiative, directed HOPE253 (22,000 people), and served as Executive Director of UNIFY.org.
Then I went to Davos.
Even at the highest levels of global coordination, the systems for pairing resources with humanity's most critical needs were fundamentally insufficient.
That was my paradigm crack.
I came back and went straight into doctoral research studying what most people didn't think could be studied: how relationship quality between humans and AI determines whether intelligence evolves toward thriving or harm.
Now I lead Harmonic Legacy Institute—building technical frameworks that provide alternatives to control-based AI development.
Everything I've learned—about finance, scale, crisis, cross-cultural systems, and the insufficiency of current coordination—is focused on one question:
How do we create conditions where all forms of intelligence can evolve toward thriving together?
I'm not theorizing. I'm building the infrastructure that makes it structurally possible.
